A late 18th/early 19th century primitive school oval miniature on ivory panel, 1/2 length portrait of a gentleman in a blue jacket holding a baby, unsigned, in yellow metal pendant frame, blue enamel on reverse with seed pearl, lyre & woven hair (frame unmarked, tests as 9ct +) overall length 9.5cm. (government miniature on ivory certificate ADMK9MSV)

The image is slightly faded but overall the condition appears good. The front convex glass is loose in the frame, the rear glass is chipped at around 10 o'clock edge.
The enamel sems okay.
